Description:

This is my go-to rig when fishing venues where you're fishing high from the water or casting into deep water. The reason for this is that the pivot point of the snood is at the bottom of the rig, so you stand the best chance possible of making sure your bait is kept hard on the sea bed. Another situation where this rig really comes into its own is that, naturally, it's a short rig when clipped, so it creates less drag in the air when casting in strong winds, helping to gain extra distance.
